La Balestra B&B

We had a fantastic stay at B&B La Balestra. Biagio, the owner, is incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. We had planned to reach Balestrate by train, but on the day we arrived in Sicily, there was a railway strike we didn’t know about and we got stuck for hours at the airport. I called Biagio, and to our surprise, he showed up with a smile and picked us up in less than 40 minutes! We’re so grateful for his help and warm welcome. Every morning he served us delicious breakfasts with fresh croissants, great coffee, and savory options too—not just sweets ;) The view from the dining room over the sea and town is unforgettable. We traveled with our 1-year-old and Biagio kindly let us use the kitchen to prepare food and heat milk in the frother—such a thoughtful touch. There's also a filtered water tap in the kitchen, which we really appreciated. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a spacious bathroom, child-safe balcony, comfortable bed and a fridge. The location is great—just a 10-minute walk to the train station. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and we’ll definitely recommend this place to friends. Thank you, Biagio!

The host is very kind and helpful. The stay has all necessary things especially hair dryer was useful. He arranged the best breakfast and suggested some good restaurants. I highly recommend this place for a stay.

Soggiorno piacevole, camera spaziosa, bagno grande con finestra, ben arredato. Pulizia buona. La colazione veniva fatta in un bar vicino, visto la bassa stagione, con dolci buonissimi

Wonderful stay at this hotel for 3 nights in Balestrate! The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home and offering great tips for exploring the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Great location in town, easy parking on the street, nice updates on the rooms, good breakfast, amazing host!

The B&B is only a 10 or 20 minute walk to two of Balestrates beaches and has plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are airy and have good air-con and WiFi. Breakfast in the room upstairs overlooking the ocean was lovely. The owner was very accommodating - checked us in at midnight and took us to the airport. A great place to base yourself.

The road outside the hotel is very busy and noisy. It didn't keep us up too much though as the hotel as good glazing and shutters.
