The ground floor apartment could use a fan or an air conditioning.

Wonderful hosts, both Giullia and her daughter were very welcoming. The breakfast is fantastic (especially the home made tart) and Gragnola is a lovely, medieval village. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Amazing hospitality, lovely host. We were terribly late with the booking of our room but Villa Giulia made sure everything was in order when we arrived and made sure we had everything we were in need of. Beautiful place, amazing breakfast; definitely recommended!

The pool area is outstanding, with a crystal clear saltwater pool, nice beds and sunshade for all guests. Probably the best pool area I've ever tried! The garden and room is extremely clean and well taken care of!

We booked the ground floor apartment. First of all, It is closer to being the basement, than the ground floor, as the light from outside was very poor. It had brand new kitchen appliances, but it was only equipped with plates and cutlery. The host was very helpful and lent us the basics (knifes, pots and pans, cutting board etc.), but don't expect to be able to cook more than a simple meal. As stated the room only have a sofabed, and it is unfortunately very unconfutable to sleep in, especially if you are two people. The breakfast is mediocre. We missed better bread, unsweetened pastry (a normal croissant for example, everything was very sweet) and scrambled or fried eggs (the only eggs served, were very hard boiled and cold). Not much to see in the area, and you have to drive min. 15 min to find a village with more than one restaurant. I would book this place to enjoy the sun and the pool :) That is luckily very nice!
