Sunsets and Palm Trees

We loved everything! A special place surrounded by nature with beautiful rooms and views. David our host went above and beyond ensuring we were comfortable and has everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave.

The place is really surrounded by nature, and calm. The food is great. We enjoyed chating with David who was always telling us interesting stories and facts about India.

Many mosquitos, but the owner can provide very effective incense stick so it was fine.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Lovely pool (although not private) Expect to be cut off from everything and enjoy the serenity and birds. Had dinner once and was very very delicious. We chose this booking for peace and quiet (don't like big hotels) and definately lived up to this but a bit overpriced compared to our other bookings in Kerala. Would recommend travelling to Alleppy for a Shakira boat ride. Lovely quiet boats that take you in and out of the backwaters to areas that the bigger boats can't go.

Few staff, no room clean (stayed 3 nights). Without David, we would not have been able to communicate and felt the staff were pretty rushed off their feet. Although no room clean, we could have asked and im sure it would have been done. (we were not asked - sure because no one else apart from David speaks English) Tuk Tuk arranged and expect higher fees as you are stranded. Overall, property and David very nice.

Het was een prachtige kamer, prachtige omgeving. De host David hielp ons met alles, hij was heel erg lief en behulpzaam. Echt een geweldige tijd gehad.

Beautiful remote settings, lovely decor and nice plunge pool. An amazing place to get away from everything. David was a kind and helpful host, and we were cooked delicious meals for breakfast and lunch!

Kleines Refugium für Naturliebhaber…

L'emplacement est le plus de cet hôtel : bord d'un des canaux. Pour le temps où l'on s'y trouvait, le personnel était très dévoué.

Mais le rapport qualité/prix est très négatif. On arrive dans cet hôtel au prix élevé pour l'Inde dans un lieu informel, apparemment privatif. Aucun endroit où trouver du personnel. Les matelas sont déformés, la ventilation est en position fixe... et tout est à l'avenant. Nous étions très désagréablement surpris sur un séjour de 17 jours où aucune autre expérience hôtelière n'avait été négative.

David war sehr zuvorkommend und hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Auch das Team war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns jeden Tag auf das Frühstück gefreut und waren auch begeistert von der Boottour, die für uns organisiert wurde.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Traum. Die private Area hinter dem Haus mit Pool und Sonnenliegen ist wunderschön und das Häuschen selber ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. David war ein perfekter Gastgeber, wir haben in den Gesprächen mit ihm viel über Indien, Kerala und Gott und die Welt gelernt und viel gelacht. Er hat sich perfekt um alles gekümmert und war jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar, auch wenn er nicht vor Ort war. Besser geht's nicht! Und hab ich schon die Lage am Backwater erwähnt? Wir sind stundenlang einfach nur im Schatten des Pavillons am Wasser gesessen und haben geschaut. Hausboote, Fischerboote, bunte Vögel, Vögel, die Fische fangen, Fische, die Insekten fangen. Und immer wieder weht vom Tempel heiliger Gesang herüber. Ein Stück Paradies
