Clark House Inn

Very good communication with Hannah when we booked and before and after our arrival. Hannah made certain that there were breakfast items available for my gluten free diet. Breakfast was enjoyable and gave us the opportunity to visit with several other groups of people that we never would have met under other accommodations.

das Haus ist wirklich sehr besonders und wunderschön. Man fühlt sich in dem alten Südstaatenhaus fast ein wenig wie in "Vom Winde verweht".Die Lage ist perfekt, man kann fast alles zu Fuß machen

I loved the privacy of the room which was located on the side cottage of the main house. The greenbelt outside the room added to the peace. The bed was comfy and the room large with two stuffed chairs. The common areas in the mansion were accessible to lounge. The continental breakfast was available to start the day.

The house it's self is beautiful, with lots of common areas. You can help yourself to snacks and items in the fridge. Self serve breakfast was good. The house keeper was very accommodating. We had a slight problem with our arrival time, so she sent self check in details.

The house in our opinion wasn't all that clean. There were cobwebs and bugs on lamps and surfaces the kitchen felt a little grubby, with crumbs and spilt liquids in the fridge. The shelves in the fridge could have done with being labelled with what was for use by the hotel and what was the shelf for the guests, as you didn't know what food or drink was what in there. Also stains on the carpets. The bed was quite high, even for my husband who's 6ft 4.

Clark House Inn is a beautiful property. The bedroom was huge and nicely furnished. There are lots of seating area’s inside and outside the mansion to relax and have a drink. This stay felt like home and we would definitely come here again.
