Georgios Rooms

The TV was very modern and well equipped with a lot of different options such as YouTube and Netflix to choose from. There was a lovely home-style restaurant right next door, and it was only about a 10 minute walk from the train station and to the nearest hiking trail. And although not advertised, we could see parts of the mountains from our balcony, which was a nice surprise.

The air conditioning had a few problems, and didn't work as well as we'd hoped.

Mr.Georgios is a very kind person, he gave me all kind of attention, the accomadetion was perfect, thank you Mr. Georgios.

We liked the staff. Awesome was that we could leave our baggage in the shop beneath the room that is owned by owners father for a whole day after our stay ended. The room was clean and there was even a fridge. It was also very cheap.

There was a market throughout the whole street in the morning so it was quite noisy.

Very loud street, we could hardly sleep. Bed is comfy but too small for two people, although this was a problem for us in all accommodations in Greece. Toilet seat was broken and unusable.

The property is well-located, about a 5-10 minute walk from the hiking trail to Holy Trinity Monastery. It is also a 2 minute walk away from some good restaurants and grocery stores, and 5 minutes away from fast food (gyros/pizza) if you are so inclined. There are also some cheap laundry services in town about 5 minutes walk away. Check-in online was very helpful, and the gentleman in the shop below (the owner's grandpa) was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke English, French, and Greek - he will let you store bags in his shop pre/post checking, if you need. Make sure you get him a biscuit, I think he likes biscuits! Facilities are basic, but for the price point and for my needs (hiking Meteora solo for 2 days) everything was perfectly fine.

My only concern was the outside noise at night - the property is next to a restaurant, so it can sometimes get a bit noisy until about 11-12 o'clock at night.
