Baywood Inn Bed & Breakfast

We planned a deep sea fishing trip that week and needed a place to stay. We found this hotel on booking.com. the room is very clean and having a kitchen is very accommodating for us because we get tired of eating out while on vacations. Having access to the lobby after hours is also a big plus because we forgot to pack water bottles and was able to get them for our fishing trips the next morning.

One minor suggestion is the water flow from the shower head is very weak. Maybe replace this shower head with one that permits stronger flow? Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this inn.

Upgrade compensation for our originally reserved room being renovated was a nice perk. Access to extra towels, bottled waters, snacks and wines in the evening was really nice and appreciated.

The location and value are excellent. Free wine and snacks in afternoon and fruit and cookies, etc always in lobby. Hotel fronts Morro Bay with views of Morro Rock. Montana de Oro Sate Park with awesome bluff walk is few minutes drive to the south and the lovely unique Elfin Forest is a couple of blocks to the north. Good food and drink are only steps away from hotel.

Our comfortable room did have a step up to sleeping area which we managed, but ask about other rooms if that is a concern.

Les chambres ont été récemment rénovées et sont donc beaucoup plus belles et confortables que sur les photos. Les chambres sont spacieuses et ont une petite cuisine équipée, des fauteuils et une table. Une très belle surprise.

the exterior and location was excellent the breakfasts were incredible

the furniture, carpets, bathroom were very dated and heavily used. couch was torn in places. carpet bubbled and old. The toilet seat was too small for toilet.

The property was close to several good restaurants. I really liked nautical bean It was quiet and relaxing. I liked the communication of staff when they were closing the lobby early on Memorial Day. I liked the all day coffee and wine bar (evening 5-6) The wine was delicious. When the breakfast restaurant was closed, they gave us coupons for $10 off Nautical Bean. Bed was comfortable.

There wasn’t a tv in bedroom. The shower takes a bit longer to get to hot water. The bathroom door placement was tight, but workable. There was a long section that didn’t have a use. Would be a great place to put up hanging closet rack? There were a lot of mirrors on the walls that I assume to make the room appear larger. Just strange to see.

The service was very good

We had some minor issues but they were resolved quickly
