I've stayed here before and it's a very nice place and the owner and his wife are very kind and the food is delicious. They treated us like family. I hope to come back for a longer vacation. There are really many places to see. Thank you for everything you did for us.

The hosts are the best I've ever seen: a very attentive and caring couple. Hani cooks delicious breakfasts and dinners, Nelum works in hospitality for more than 20years. He can recommend places and programs. The room is clean and cozy, they have hot water and a mosquito net. The village is quiet and very green. I stayed in the room downstairs, upstairs they have 2 more rooms, one with the AC. The view there is also great. Overall, you feel more like you visit your relatives than actually renting a room

The location is amazing, between the trees, escaping the busy roads and waking up with the sound and view of all kind of animals on this amazing jungle terrace. Kelum and Rani are very kind people, checking in and offering help/suggestions. the breakfast was delicious and enough to feed an army. The upstairs room with the bigger balcony is the best, I ended up extending my stay from 5 days to 11 days. Really recommend if you’re seeking some rest from the tourist area!

Be sure to bring some earplugs, sometimes street dogs might sing in the night…

The house was amazing, room was big and clean with amazing views from balcony. Every day monkeys in the trees as you watch on 🐒 The family running it are just the most loving and kind people you could meet, simply could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable and it was a privilege staying with them in their house for a few days. The food, well what can I say. Unbelievably good local food, loads of it and really good value for money. It’s about 30 minutes walk down to the beach or Tuk Tuk about 400rps. Just around the corner is a little bar / restaurant called the Crab run by a local guy called Sasitha. Good option for sunset beer. Guesthouse can arrange lake boat trips at good price in good boat (some are rusty old things). This was the perfect place to avoid crowds and really enjoy real Sri Lanka❤️🙏

Nothing, but a word of note, they have a downstairs room without a balcony. If possible try to get one of the two upstairs room with the balcony. Epic sunrise 😁
