The beds were comfy and the host was helpful

The stairs are scary, they are too narrow

The location is excellent and very convenient. Booking process was smooth and pleasant. The room was comfortable, with easy and private access to the guest house — a definite plus for guests looking for privacy from the rest of the house.

Only one towel was provided, despite the booking being for two people — this felt like a basic oversight. Our experience was negatively affected by a staff member who confronted us in a rude manner, questioning why we left feedback if we intended to return. The comment "why nifaka ama comments anjani njani if coming back" was not only unprofessional but also discouraged honest feedback, which is essential for service improvement. It was also uncomfortable to be pointed out to other staff members while being shown to our room — this felt unnecessary and unwelcoming.

The bed was comfy.

The smelt of urine when we walked in and there was orange fluid in the toilet pot. There were old cigarette buds on the balcony floor and full in a used ashtray. The morning of our departure, someone was trying to unlock our door. The corridors are very noisy.

We had no water and no electricity. It was very noisy.

The main redeeming quality of this guest lodge is its convenient location. We also appreciated the flexibility of a one-hour late checkout after our run, and the hot shower was undoubtedly the best part of our stay.

Despite booking for two people, we were provided with only one bath towel. No drinking water provided, the curtains were visibly dirty, and the fleece/throw on the bed had unpleasant odour, suggesting it hadn't been washed in a very long time. A small desk and unsightly hanging cords is inefficient use of such a spacious room. The absence of a carpet or mat made the room feel cold and unwelcoming.
