Everything Fantastic place, tranquil, relaxing. The hosts were lovely, the accommodation was excellent. Everything had been thought about to make your stay perfect. Great breakfast too.

Excellent room for 4 with double bed downstairs and two beds for the kids upstairs. Great off the beaten path location and super breakfast. Overall a great nights stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Lower Barns. The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall, the room was very comfortable, but above all the hospitality of Jamie and Mike was outstanding — they made our holiday that little bit more special! Thank you for that.

Slightly off the beaten track, you will need to have access to a car. Once there, I was surprised at how well the venue exceeded my expectations. The gardens and apartment are very luxurious. We stayed in 'The Hideaway' which was decorated to a very high level, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We did not use the restaurant but the breakfast was lovely. I loved the artwork scattered around and I came home with some very picturesque photos of the buildings and flora. This place had a lovely, friendly vibe and we interacted with the other guest that were truly international. I would love to stay again.

The venue was perfect for us, but I would double check it was accessibility friendly, if this was important to you.

It is very well situated for seeing all the sights and attractions Cornwall has to offer. It's off the beaten track, which is great for solitude and peace. The bed was comfortable and I love the decor of the place!

I didn't have any meals included with my accommodation (which I knew) but a small fridge would have been an advantage so you could keep some milk in for hot drinks and snacks.

The breakfast was amazing and depending on the weather, was taken indoors or out. All tastes provided for, amazing choice and top quality produce. Our room was in the main barn and had all we needed and more including a conservatory. Spotlessly clean and thoughtful additional touches such as cake on arrival, a jar of sweets, fresh coffee plus a cafetiere We spent one day just sitting in the beautiful garden. And one evening was spent in their sitting room relaxing and reading. Good proximity to some great places to visit too - Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissay, Fowey, Charlestown and the wonderfully exciting Eden Project - none more than 30 / 40 mins away. And a number of great pubs around too. Just perfect.

The site was such a beautifully maintained place that extended into the rooms. The owners are so friendly attentive and accommodating. The food was above and beyond a great quality with a wide offering. The extras in the room gave it a homely feeling. Couldn’t fault this beautiful place

Beautiful garden, quirky and unique. Relaxing and private. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful grounds. Lovely hot tub. Gorgeous rooms with super comfy beds. Owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had such a lovely stay, we didn’t want to leave.
