Nadarra Hideaway

Jamie and family were very welcoming and friendly. Location was superb with breathtaking sunrises. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Would highly recommend.

The family, Jamie and Grant, are friendly hosts who welcomed us into their home. They live in a rural location with their dog and two children. The upstairs area is just for guests with its own breakfast area, but we were free to use the kitchen and patio area. We could help ourselves to a simple breakfast of cereals, toast and jams, yogurt, coffee and tea in the morning. It is quiet & peaceful. If you are visiting Waitomo Caves it is only about 6 kilometers away with a couple of places to eat. The house is in a beautiful setting.

Be aware, especially if you aren't used to narrow roads or driving on the left, that the roads can be a bit challenging and are best driven in daylight.

Nadarra Hideaway was just what we needed for 1 night before we went to Waitomo Caves. (Just 10 minutes away) Beautiful views in the evening and then sunrise in the morning right out the front door!! Jamie was a wonderful & warm host. We would definitely recommend Nadarra Hideaway!

Loved everything!

Excellent hideaway, quiet farm house surrounded by rolling hills and nature. Loved everything about it. Property owned by a very nice and friendly family, living on the ground floor. Colt (their dog) was exceptionally welcoming :-) Breakfast cereal and milk in the fridge was a nice touch. And we even go to see ducklings, thanks to owner's children!

Just a 10 minute drive out of town, this is a hidden gem. The bungalow is thoughtfully situated on the larger property so that it feels secluded and has a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. We loved leaving the doors completely open and enjoying the view from our bed. We also enjoyed breakfast under the shade of the thoughtfully placed umbrella, small table and 2 chairs. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was nice to have the breakfast in our room and available whenever we wanted to eat.

The only things that would improve this would be some fresh fruit or hard boiled eggs with breakfast. The wifi was slow and spotty but it didn't bother us too much. The view made up for it.

Absolutely stunning location, lovely room and bathroom. Great hosts and lovely to have breakfast included!

Ich wurde von den Gastgeberin äusserst herzlich empfangen und habe mich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Mir wurde alles in Ruhe gezeigt und erklärt, sodass ich mich sofort gut zurechtfand. Das Zimmer sowie die Gemeinschaftsräume waren nicht nur sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch aussergewöhnlich sauber und gepflegt. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Details und das Wohlbefinden der Gäste gelegt wird. Besonders schön ist auch der wunderschöne Garten, der eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre schafft und perfekt ist, um zur Ruhe zu kommen.
