Fox and Hounds Country Inn

Rooms separate but next door to main building so more peaceful. Easy access to rooms with plenty of parking. Easy to find. The staff were superb and Sam’s skill at making towels into swans and bears was the icing on the cake. The food was exceedingly generous and home made and the serving and kitchen staff amazing.

I liked it all but some may find it slightly isolated. I did joke that I wasn’t expecting shared occupancy but that was just because a spider came and tried to share my room. It was in the country. It could have been the least of my visitors. No problems at all!

Good clean family run pub with rooms. Dinner and breakfast was fine, portions plentiful , honest pub grub and good value. Room was very clean and comfortable, we had an outside room which was equipped with tea making facility, easy parking directly outside. Friendly and helpful staff throughout.

Fixtures in shower got in way while showering, not much shower gel in containers, poor quality.
