Very clean and friendly staff

Very comfortable and well appointed. We stayed in the studio as there were 3 of us - the bed was very comfortable and the bed settee was fairly comfortable for our daughter. The kitchen and fridge were well equipped and it was a very pleasant place to relax. The staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs.

It is next to a fairly busy road - but we still managed to sleep well.

Breakast wasn't so good. Only cereal was coco pops! No crumpets, bagels only cheap bread. No berries, cheese or meats. One type of yogurt. No fresh pastries, onlychep packaged long life ones ! Very poor

The feeling of isolation. Is the business staffed overnight ? I felt frightened at times.

Very comfortable room, friendly staff. Unique breakfast set up which suited us. Great food and large portions in the restaurant.

Small, neat, clean. Lovely shower with well stocked products. Amazing food in the pub/restaurant, would definitely eat there again. Lovely small kitchen area but not particularly well stocked (no tea bags except for fruit teas and earl grey), little sugar. Milk was not off but the cream was ‘floating’ so a little off putting.

Bed was a very small single and the mattress was ‘dipping’ to one side so a very uncomfortable nights sleep. There is residual noise from the pub though that didn’t go on too long but we were exhausted and wanted an early night!

We were advised in advance that there would be no cooked breakfast. This is not a problem for us and the continental breakfast provided was exceptional. The Porterhouse is a very pleasant pub with good beer and an excellent restaurant. We ate their both days.

The hot water in the shower was particularly slow to come through on occasion.
