Treweens

In these days where B&Bs are mainly just Bed, what a joy to be in such a lovely traditional B&B! Set in the peaceful countryside, this 18th century house has been modernised so well that from the inside it appears 20th century. (But if you are over 6ft 2in, ask for a bedroom with the en-suite readily accessible!) It has its own fields for dog walking, and beautifully kept gardens. The full Cornish breakfast was a real delight, as were the home-made compotes, jams and marmalades. Nicky was so welcoming, flexible and friendly. A real pleasure to stay in her lovely B&B!

The roads nearby are not walkable.

Very relaxing stay. Our hostess made us feel very welcome and cooked a lovely breakfast. Our dogs had an extra treat as they were able to have a run in the secure field at the back of the house

No complaints

Everything was excellent and very tasteful. Breakfast - locally sourced eco friendly products. Bed unbelievably comfortable. Most of all Nicky, the host was so welcoming and interesting. Best b&b I have been to.

I cannot think of a thing. So much thought in all the details - even home knitted cosies for teapot and boiled eggs!

Nicky was a super host friendly easy to talk to and had in-depth knowledge of the area. The bungalow had everything we needed for our holiday. The property was very clean and comfortable throughout. The location is very peaceful and relaxing

Our host Nicky made us feel very welcome, she was attentive without being intrusive with a wonderful sense of humour and cooked a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility with a lovely outlook from our room.

While our bathroom was just across the hallway, we would have preferred an ensuite. It was a little tricky to find at first but once you made note of the sign at the turn off on B3314 not a problem.

Breakfast was amazing

Made to feel very welcome. Lovely property and grounds. Lovely and clean. Plenty of refreshments in room. Very nice shower. Good choice for breakfast. Great service all round.

Nothing to dislike

The breakfast was excellent. The room was lovely, had comfortable beds and a nice modern shower just over the corridor. The windows looked out over a beautiful garden. It was very quiet at night as the B&B is situated on a not so busy sidestreet. Nicky was very friendly an extremely helpful and we could always reach her when we needed assistance. It was a perfect stay and we highly recommend it to other travellers.
