quiet neighborhood. close to beach and close to scuba diving shop

the name of my room said balcony and view. that is the whole reason why i booked it. i did not have any views from my level. the name of my room needs to be changed. the pictures are old. they both need to be changed to reflect its current condition.

Ein wirklich gemütliches Homestay mit kleiner Terasse und Sitzgelegenheit direkt vor dem kleinen aber feinen Zimmer. Vor dem Haus ein kleiner Garten mit ein paar Bänken und Tischen. Das Bett war bequem, als Zudecke gab es nur eine art Plüschdecke, dafür könnte man vllt einen Punkt abziehen. Wir hatten aber glücklicherweise leichte Hüttenschlafsäcke dabei, insofern hat das für uns gut gepasst. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Die Besitzer waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist super, 100m oder so zum kleinen Strand. Von dort aus kann man im alten Hafenbecken wunderbar tauchen und schnorcheln; das komplette Equipment inkl Badeschuhe (es gibt Seeigel!) kann man sich kostenlos im Homestay leihen. Und gleich beim ersten Abtauchen konnten wir ein paar große Meeresschildkröten beim Grasen beobachten! Tipp: es empfiehlt sich, gliech bei Ankunft auf der Insel einen Scooter zu leihen, anders kommt man m.W. kaum zum Homestay. Und: ein Internationaler Führerschein ist da Pflicht. Alternativ gibt es auch E-Bike Verleiher. Sollte ich jemals wieder nach Xiaoliuqiu kommen, will auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Zumindest ein dünnes Laken als Zudecke wäre fein

- booking a room with a sea view I would have expected a bit more of a sea view - the owner didn’t speak any word with us because he doesn’t speak English at all and also doesn’t seem to be trying to - the bathroom was not clean at all

It is very comfortable and a nice location overlooking the sea. The owner is very friendly.

This is such a lovely place, I will always happy to come back

Lovely hosts. Clean and tidy.

Water supply is strong (good shower), air conditioning functions very well.

Missed a comfortable chair in the narrow room (armchair outside). No bed frame, mattress only on the ground is low down and not so comfortable for watching tv.
