Admiral MacBride Bed & Breakfast

I travel a lot for work and this is one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. Clean and comfortable, I had a sea view. Location couldn't of been better! Staff were nice :) For the pricepoint is a bargain!

The room was lovely. The owners were helpful telling us where to check in and the staff were amazing. 10/10 would stay again.

No breakfast Room was very good size nice light sunny & airy.

The light at night shone through the glass window, from the hallway/stairwell a blackout curtain or put a auto switch on the light would be beneficial

Great location shame about the room.

Very Tired and rooms need to be updated. Hot tap wasn’t attached and moved about. The cold tap had a constant drip. We had to put a flannel in the sink so we didn’t hear it at night. Behind the radiator there was a bad repair. Main light didn’t work. Stool was broken. Shocking view out the window. Black mould in shower. There was a taped piece of paper over a light. Toilet was far too noisy whenever flushed. I rarely write reviews as I’m really not fussy and just see it as a place to get my head down but sadly room 3 was pretty shocking. I’ve stayed at the Admiral McBride many times but never in room 3 and sadly I’ve booked elsewhere for next year.

Lovely location, very comfortable bed, clean room.

No aircon/fan/openable window and small bathroom.

Very easy for parking, friendly staff when booking into the venue.
