The place was nicely tucked away with minimal noise and lights in the area. Great way to enjoy the countryside! The room was spacious and nicely laid out. The host was friendly and welcoming.

This is a gem in the countryside of Tai Tapu. Merrilies made us feel very welcome (as did Mickey) We loved her interior design with the space and practicalities of the room itself and the separate kitchen and lounge.

"The best overnight stay we had in South Island."

It was a fabulous place to stay, very spacious, with a lovely hostess who made us welcome and invited us to share all the facilities on offer. It wasn't easy to find, but well worth it. There was also a very good pub in the nearby village.
