Tithe Barn - Self Check In Hotel

Spacious and comfy. Very close to town centre. Great recommendations for Breakfast, too

Very stylish, warm, spotless and well equipped, The bed was so comfortable. The car parking arrangement seemed to work well. We were staying overnight for a wedding (shout out to Low Hall, the Lakes - absolutely beautiful!) so we didn’t see too much of Cockermouth but the surroundings are stunning. Tithe Barn is a great location for exploring.

Very little not to like, though self check in, though very easy, made the experience a little soulless, however, communication with the owners was friendly and informative. A little fridge would’ve been a bonus.

It’s my 3 rd time at this property and it gets better and better each time.

Very convenient location. Materials in the room felt luxurious, nice attention to detail. Bed was a great size and lovely pillows. Large room. Very spacious bathroom. The room is 5* and luxurious - we loved it ❤️

Our room was above the bar and after a 9hr drive we just wanted to relax and sleep however there was very loud music and chatter until around 12. Guests arrived on our second night in the room above us. Every move they made in their bedroom or bathroom was transferred through to our room. Overall, it was quite a noisy experience. Our bathroom, and especially the bathroom floor, was very cold, even with the radiator on - make sure you take some slippers!

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds with lovely linen. Bathrooms spotless with amazingly soft white towels. Free parking at an adjacent car park!

Nothing about the property itself. Only downside it is right in the town centre so there was quite a bit of noise up until midnight to be expected as we stayed on a Friday night.
