3 flights of stairs, not close enough to train station or centre of City, had to use taxis

the cleanliness was really incredible. Staff very gentle and friendly. Quiet and bright.

Personally I found the bed a little too short for my size (188 cm). The problem was that I couldn't put my feet outside the bed, because of the wooden protection at the bottom of the bed.

The host met us on arrival and showed us around the spacious apartment which is a short walk from the historic centre of Domodossola. The breakfast provisions were exceptional with cheese, ham, yogurts, juices, soft drinks, croissants and a big bowl of fresh fruit . Tea, coffee, milk etc all in generous amounts. Host very responsive to questions - came immediately when electric oven fuse tripped .

A little noise from the nearby railway line but not intrusive .

We were quite early in Domodossola, but the owner received us most welcoming to leave our luggage, while they cleaned the room after their former guests. The bedroom had airconditioning.

It was a good equipped kitchen, but unfortunately we could not use the stove.

This is a great place to stay to explore the mountains on the border of Switzerland without paying Swiss prices. The apartment has everything you need and is a very nice size for a couple or small family. The parking was easy and there were always plenty of spots. There are a few different options left for breakfast as well as coffee and tea.

The pullout couch is not in the greatest shape. But the bed is great so if you are only two people this wouldn't be a problem.
