Madla rooms

The room was beautiful, VERY clean and comfortable. Really nice pillows and comfortable bed. Hot water in the shower and great aircon. Has a good mini fridge also. Also the WiFi was really good and tea and coffee was provided. Lovely hosts and also the location was perfect! It was approximately a 5 minute walk to the surfers beach and a 2 minute walk to good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place. Also, no bugs in this place at all!

Could do with an extra sheet/blanket as the one provided isn’t long enough to cover your feet. If you want it to cover your feet then you have to sleep so close to the person next to you due to the width of the blanket. Would be fine if you’re staying alone.

Perfect location, not far from famous restaurants and the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything was perfect. Next time, I’ll definitely stay here for a while.

Very quiet at night

The shower pipe had some issue.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect! Very close to the beach and it was the most comfortable accommodation we had during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! Very kind owner & team and super clean room 😊 No breakfast available but lots of Cafés and restaurants are within 5-10 min walking distance.

The room and bathroom is well furnished in a more European style/standard. Includes fridge and kettle, table and chair. Location is off the busy road but in walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach, bus stop.

Clean and comfortable rooms, with Basic amenities like Tea / coffee tray, and refrigerator. Was done up tastefully, though. No dining facilities at all.

No toiletries in the room. Accessibility was a bit of an issue - at the end of a narrow lane. The house was about 700 metres from the main beach road.
