Moorlands

A beautiful old house, appropriately decorated and obviously loved and well looked after. It felt like being honoured guests not paying customers. Breakfasts were just right and individually tailored. The views from the room and grounds were wonderful. Our hosts were very welcoming.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Very quiet location with a large well tended garden Superb and massive room very comfortably furnished with antique furniture. Lovely view over the Clyde estuary from the large bay window Beautifully fitted private bathroom. Good breakfasts

The house is gorgeous. Lesley and Simon are lovely and generous hosts. We enjoyed everything about Moorlands.

Eigentlich alles. Ein sehr besonderes Haus mit einem sehr feinen Blick für Schönheit und Grandezza. Man fühlt sich wie in Watte gepackt auf einer Zeitreise weit in die "good old british times". Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Der Strom im Zimmer war am Morgen abgestellt. Hätte mir gerne einen Kaffee gemacht.

Alles, besser geht kaum, wenn man ältere Häuser liebt. Sehr freundliche Betreuung durch die Eigentümer, man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Hier macht Urlaub Freude. Wunderschönes Haus mit ebenso charmanten Zimmern und Ausstattung sowie sehr gepflegter Gartenanlage

Nichts, ausser fehlendem USB- /Strom-Anschluss im Zimmer / bei Betten

Weinig op aan te merken: de B&B scoorde goed op alle vlakken! Gastvrijheid, comfort, informatie over bezienswaardigheden, onthaal, verzorgd ontbijt, met veel liefde bereid.

Niets

Breakfast was rather basic. There was no choice, a cooked breakfast arrived. We were not asked if we had any preferences, eg type of egg. What we got was an overcooked egg poached in a mould

One would assume a private bathroom was en suite, not on the opposite side of a landing on which there were other guests. This was not even the bathroom for the room we were allocated. A notice in our room stated that the bathroom was down a flight of stairs behind a red curtain!! Also a table on the landing had a selection of teas. Having decided to have green tea we noticed on the box the use by date was 09/24!!

Very hospitable hosts and very nice room with beautiful views.
