Moorlands

Moorlands is a beautiful house set in stunning grounds. We particularly appreciated the authentic furniture and soft furnishings in the house and our room. The room faced the garden with distant views of Loch Gare. Although close to the road, the sound proofing was amazing - we couldn't any noise from outside. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Lesley served us tea and coffee on arrival. Our only slight disappointment was that the Booking.com details suggest this has a private bathroom but in fact it's shared with other guests. This wasn't a major problem as the other room was occupied by relatives but it would have been if there had been strangers we were sharing with.

Very welcoming and beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Breakfast was very tasty and great choices.

The house was a delight with a grand staircase, high ceilings and beautiful brocade drapes. For my sister and I the room was perfect with 2 large beds , ample room , comfortable armchairs and our own private bathroom. Breakfast was whatever we wanted and the hosts could not have been more helpful.
