Bathroom not next to bedroom

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut: Sie liegt nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß von einem wunderbaren Strand mit ein paar kleinen lokalen Restaurants in Kaiteriteri entfernt.

Zur Unterkunft: Sie wird als Bed & Breakfast bezeichnet, entspricht diesem Standard jedoch nicht. Es gibt zwar einen Kühlschrank und eine Möglichkeit zu frühstücken, jedoch ausschließlich in Selbstbedienung und ohne Kaffee. Das Zimmer verfügte über keine fest installierte Heizung. Es stand lediglich eine fahrbare Heizung zur Verfügung. Aus diesem Grund war regelmäßiges Lüften kaum möglich. Die Zimmer waren zwar sauber, allerdings war morgens starke Feuchtigkeit an den Fenstern von innen sichtbar. Der Eingangs- bzw. Frühstücksbereich war äußerst ungemütlich. Der Teppich war stark verschmutzt und voller Flecken. Zudem gab es lediglich einen sehr kleinen Tisch mit Platz für nur zwei Personen, obwohl im Haus mehrere Zimmer vermietet werden. Insgesamt entsprach die Unterkunft weder der Beschreibung noch den Erwartungen an ein Bed & Breakfast.

Misleading Bathroom Description: Rooms marketed with "private bathrooms" are not ensuite; they require crossing a shared hallway and breakfast area to access. ​Inaccessible Amenities: The pool and garden are advertised as key features, yet no instructions or access details were provided. ​Poor Soundproofing: Significant noise transfer from the floor above, adjacent rooms, and the shared hallway. ​Lack of Functional Common Space: The "breakfast area" is merely an entrance corridor and a walkway to the bathrooms, offering no real privacy or comfort. ​Inadequate Room Setup: The room lacked basic toiletries (shampoo), provided only one bedside table, and featured a tiny TV in a poorly positioned, non-functional location.

Très bon emplacement proche du bord de mer. Très bon accueil à l'arrivée. Belle chambre spacieuse et confortable avec une salle de bain privative séparée et un espace repas-détente commun. Très bon petit-déjeuner continental. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

The property is in a great location with handy access to the town and the water taxis to the park, but not in the thick of it, the swimming pool and the deck are a great space to relax, the host is very friendly.

The communal eating area is very dark and tired, the breakfast items are basic. The rooms are smaller than suggested on the listing, and there was no cleaning of the rooms for the duration of our stay.

The bed and facilities were very clean, comfortable and private. The location was great, close to town and had a beautiful view of the morning sunrise. Paul and his wife were friendly, respectful and helpful. The included breakfast was simple and supplies abundant. Room for us to store our bikes and water gear. We felt very at home and safe.
