"Exceptional"

Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Lovely, rural location. Appreciated the hot tub, and nutritious breakfast.

Lack of kitchen facilities was a slight hindrance, meaning we had to eat out each night of our four night stay.

I wanted to just make a note to say that the place was really above expectations, especially because of all the little things: the food that was provided that didn't need to be, the way the whole place was set up from the old books that were there for the kids. It's the small things that really made a big difference and it brought back a lot of memories, being someone who came from a farming background to see a lot of that. It really was special and I would highly recommend.

"perfect setting, lovely hosts and easy to get about from the location"

Brekkie was awesome thanks. Loved the presentation and use of wax covers. Location was perfect for getting about as central to our points of interest and being in the countryside was a bonus for tranquility.

Beautifully appointed accommodation in a peaceful , attractive rural location. Close to both Carterton and Greytown.

so beautiful and scenic! Ruth was so thoughtful with all the amenities provided and the effort put into making her space a home away from home. It was the perfect stay for attending a wedding close by, a slice of heaven. Thank you for sharing with us and being so kind to lend us your ironing goods too!

Situated in a good location between Carterton, Greytown and a short drive to Martinborough. Breakfast was provided with home made jams, and fresh blueberries and yogurt. Super friendly hosts who were very welcoming and happy to help when needed, very kind and lovely to chat with. Dog on site was a character.

A small basin in the kitchen area would be great but it wasn't hard to source water for hot drinks . (We'd have helped by doing our own dishes) .
