Another excellent night stop. Hosts are so helpful. Snacks and drinks all on hand.

We booked a large room with a balcony (Begonia), unfortunately we received a different room, without balcony (Azalia). The owner only shrugged and murmured „what can I say”. “Our” room was given to different (better?) guests. For breakfast only pre-packed confectionery. No fresh piece of bread or pastry, no juice. Far from being very good as described on the website. An acceptable place to crash overnight in vicinity of the airport but only if you run out of other options. Poor ratio price/quality.

We were looking for a location close to Fumicino airport and so we booked at Massimiliano's. We arrived in the late afternoon. Massimiliano is very nice and very responsive, one of the best hosts I've ever dealt with. He gave us a tour of the house, there is a patio in the back though he warned us that mosquitoes were out and about at that time of night. There are two bedrooms, one bedroom was set up with a queen bed and a twin bed, the other bedroom had two twin beds. Three size towels were sitting on each bed. The bathroom has a shower box and a small washer. There were shower gel and hand soap available in the bathroom. Massimiliano left a big chocolate crostata for us on the kitchen counter, unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of it because our flight was very very early the next morning. The kitchen also has a coffee machine that works with pods which are available, he also left various packaged croissants and snacks on the kitchen table. We really appreciate it how attentive our host was and how welcoming made us feel. Massimiliano even offered to give us a ride to the bank of the river, basically downtown Fiumicino, if we wanted to go walk around. It was getting late though and we were really tired, so we did not take advantage. Some of the best Roman food we've eaten in the area during our stay is 100 Mt from the property, at Osteria Dar Baffone.

Firstly, the room was spotless. Clean with big wardrobes, great AC and a fresh-looking bathroom. Secondly, the facility is located just a 10 min walk from the beach in one direction, and a 5 min walk to good restaurants in the other direction. Lastly, the service was excellent. We got a warm welcome on day one and received help with everything we asked for during the rest of our stay.

The room was beautiful; the decorations were lovely, the bed was big and the bathroom was very nice. They also provided espresso and croissants for breakfast and water bottles in the fridge. When I come back to Rome I would love to stay here again!
