Druid House B&B

The house is situated on a quiet dead end road and ideally located for the city centre being around 10 minute drive. We stayed in the balcony room which was luxurious, clean and spacious with an added bonus of a dressing room along with a fridge plus a coffee machine in the room. Lovely balcony with chairs and table with view over the well maintained garden, The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order and the room bright and welcoming. Druid house also has an inviting lounge you are able to use. Our host Caroline gave a lovely welcome on arrival, was very friendly throughout our stay and happy to do anything to enhance the pleasure of our time with her. A bonus we have never come across with a B&B is being able to book a treatment. We pre-booked a full body massage with Danielle which we highly recommend if you have the opportunity. We look forward to returning to Druid House on our next Scotland road trip.

Everything was truly exceptional. Caroline was an exceptionally friendly and accommodating host. She always greeted us with a friendly smile and helped us with any problems. The rooms were also exceptional, and we lacked nothing. The furnishings were very luxurious and wonderful. We felt very comfortable and would have loved to stay much longer. Due to our work, we have traveled extensively and stayed in many accommodations, but this was truly one of our favorites. We will definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone and are planning to return.

We loved Caroline, the host at Druid House. She was so friendly, a genuine pleasure to chat to and took care of us very well. She embodies the whole reason you'd opt for B&B style accommodation: warmth and local knowledge. Our room was the perfect size for two people and close to the breakfast serving station. It had just had carpets fitted so was plenty warm, water pressure in the shower was excellent and hot, and we had a lovely view over the beautiful garden. Location was perfect, a 6-8 min drive into Inverness depending on traffic, and we were thrilled to return back to a peaceful spot to rest.

The room was a little bit warm, but was easily rectified with opening windows (but the door to the room did rattle in the door frame a bit during this time - not a big deal to us.) Shared walls are a bit thin with regards to sound, again not a big deal to us but more noticeable with more people staying in the property our second night. The green safety light was also quite bright during the night but didn't impact our sleep overall.
