Place was quiet and serene.Liked the ambience and the staffs.

There were dead flies in the pool .Pool need to scrubbed clean .The sink basin was leaking and toilet door was broken.

Spending a cold night in a mountainous area without hot drinking water is uncomfortable since no kettle is provided. Luckily, I caught a staff to give me some hot water from the kitchen before he left the hotel. Generally, the working staff is helpful and friendly. I enjoy the pool with hot springs and a great view of the lake and mountains. However, I was reminded by the owner/manager to check out from the hotel at 11:30 a.m., which was not the norm of 12 p.m.

Bed sheets, pillow covers, and towels look and feel old. These items could have been repeatedly used by many previous visitors. I pretend and assume these items have been cleaned and replaced for our stay. The room is spacious but some light is not working and the power plug is displaced from the wall (which could be dangerous). Power tripping suddenly occurred only in my room at about 10 p.m. (the rest of the hotel was not affected). No staff at all was available to help since all of them were gone. I tried to find the power switch box with dim light from my handphone (low battery at that time) in a dark, cold, and windy atmosphere. I finally found the switch box outside of my room and behind the house to recover the power supply (scary but lucky). The owner offered IDR 550k per person for Mt Batur Sunrise trekking, but I have asked other operators who generally offered IDR 350k (including pick up & return to the original hotel even from Kuta). I negotiated for IDR 350k although the start climbing point was only about 1 km away. Finally, I still have to pay IDR 400k per person for trekking together with other travelers. I guess my negotiation made the owner earn less and frustrated him.

The natural hot pool was very comfortable The staff asked if we wanted to dinner at the hotel and it was delicous and not expensive.

SUCH a lovey family there. It was so peaceful, clean and beautiful property. The manager organised our Mt Batur sunrise hike the day before for a good price. The food in their restaurant was tasty. The pool is warm from the hot springs, it was so nice to come back to after a chilly morning hike up Mt Batur. Wifi works fine. Definitely recommend you stay here when coming to hike. We felt so looked after

Street noise is too much. Water pressure wasn't strong enough for me.

Very nice, very close to Mount Batur and to the lake. The warm pool is fantastic, all the area around is peaceful. Good breakfast, good people.

The restaurant is limited.
