Java Lagoon

It’s a very peaceful and quiet place, on the edge of the jungle and lagoon you can swim in (just for a dive to cool off). The owners and staff very friendly and helpful. I rented a scooter during my stay, it’s about a 15 minutes drive to Pangandaran. Can highly recommend the day tour to green valley and green canyon with a guide (you’ll do things you’d never do alone like jumping of cliffs and waterfalls)

If you don’t have transport and rely on their restaurant each night, the menu is somewhat restricted (but the food very tasty)

We had an amazing stay. Cedric and his wife are the most warm, welcoming, and positive people. They made me and my girlfriend feel welcome and made the best homecooked fish I've ever had. He got it in the morning at the fish market, and it tasted just as fresh. The location is perfect, as you have the sea at your doorstep. Even though it's not in the centre of Pangandaran or Batukaras, you can rent a scooter with them, and you'll be at the green canyon or aforementioned places in 30 minutes tops! I would recommend this place to young and old, it's that good!

As it is surrounded by nature, there are quite a few ants and other insects. Sometimes they showed up in the room too. Mosquitos were non-existent though, as there are quite a few bats and geckos around.

Very friendly hosts, who were very helpful and accommodating. They make great food at a reasonable price. The location is relaxing and has a great view of the lagoon.

An oasis of hospitality and abundance at the shore of a lagoon. Thank you for the kindness, support with advice, day trips, transport, and a truly great time. Pangandaran at its best! You can't beat it.

The views are spectacular! Cédric is the best host you can have to arrange everything. From scooters to a good local guide (ask for Iwan!). Also the food is delicious, fresh and far better than most restaurants serve in Pandangaran. Bathroom does have warm water!

The rooms are very noisy, you can litteraly hear what your neighbors say. Pity there’s no pool, although the laguna can be of help, provided it’s high tide. The bathroom ceiling could use some maintenance. But: if you ask Cédric, he will surely do anything for you.

The hotel was great with the views and the room was very clean. The place was quiet but not far from the highway making it a strategic place to rest. Mr Cedric (Owner) was very hospitable toward us, he made the stay homey. The staffs were nice toward us too. Food prices in this hotel was affordable and tastes great!

There's nothing to dislike, i was pretty happy with the stay.

Good for those who want to hv a quiet location.

A bit far from pananjung

A cosy hotel on the inlet overlooking the sea. Rooms are simple but sufficient, the hosts friendly and helpful and the food options delicious. A little out of town but that's its attraction.
