B&B Casa Dalma

Genuinely lovely host, great breakfast (the coffee especially), lovely warm room, comfortable bed, quiet so a great night's sleep is assured, hot shower, tea and coffee whenever. Really nice touch is providing a packed lunch for pilgrim walkers (knowing that food options extremely limited on the 24km leg after this village). All in all, perfection.

Nothing. This B and B is nothing less than perfection!

The room was very big, clean and the host is so kind and helpful. Our breakfast was so generous! We loved that it was just a short walk to downtown San Miniato. The neighborhood is quiet which is good. The price is hard to beat given we stayed right in the middle of Truffle Festival season and the city was packed that weekend.

The room we chose mentioned it came with a private bathroom, but we didn't realize it was outside of our room. We had to walk into a common space hallway to access it. Not very private or convenient compared to an ensuite bathroom. Bed is not very comfy unless you like jiggly mattresses. Kind of reminded me almost of a water bed, not very supportive. We both woke up with back and neck issues. Whoever is living upstairs, we can hear their voices and footsteps very clearly. Floors are apparently quite thin. Luckily though, we didn't hear any noise in the late evening.

Elina was fantastic at the end of this stage of the Via Francigena we where tired Elina helped us by taking us and collecting us to a nice restaurant Breakfast was nice and we where able to make lunch for our next stage walk

The property was spotless, newly built with charm. Best B&B we have stayed at. Everything in the kitchen for you to help yourself. Breakfast was lovely ranging from cereal, fruit, bread, pastries. Fresh coffee made.

There is nothing to dislike.

Elena was so helpful and welcoming. A personal service with professional and efficient approach. Beautiful house with kitchen for guest use. I went to a local shop and had a delicious salad 'at home'. The bedroom is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great breakfast and a lovely touch to add a pilgrim bag to make a sandwich for lunch or to take anything else from the plentiful array of breakfast items. I highly recommend this as a place to stay but would just warn that it is 10 mins walk from the centre on a very narrow busy road. See below.

I was delighted to have the kitchen facilities as didn't fancy walking back to the centre in the dark on the narrow road with no pathway for most of the way. It could be ok but I felt I was dodging cars on my way out at 5pm. Might be quieter later on. There's a small supermarket near the house.

We got the room with external bathroom (which was great btw, I wouldn't really call the bathroom external as there was another door that separated it from the common areas). It was beautifully decorated and had a little balcony with amazing views so I totally recommend that room! Very nice common area. A short 10min walk from the centre. The person that greeted us was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was amazing but one small thing that could be improved would be adding a couple of chairs and maybe a small table to the balcony to make the most of the view
