Beautiful location very clean and tidy host very welcoming

Fabulous room and amazing service. Vegan milk specially sought. Delicious breakfast and packed lunch too.

We had the downstairs suite, which was very large, with full comfort. It's a 4 star B&B. The bathroom is great.

Having had a festive fling at Kelso races, hubby and I booked a one night stay at Clare & David’s magnificent home. Right from booking at the telephone with Clare, through to leaving them after breakfast, our stay was a joy and a delight! Warm, friendly people, that have clearly put their heart and souls into saving this old Mill House from its destined demolition order some years ago. The entire place has been so empathetically renovated. They’ve got their accommodation pitched perfectly for a warm and comfortable stay, and a breakfast to salute! 🫡 We most certainly will return for future stays when walking in the borders, as the use of a scenic balcony to our suite on a summer’s evening is a must!!

Excellent service, rooms were extremely clean and hosts were lovely to chat to. Breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

What a find! although a wee bit out of the way, The Mill House hosts Claire and David made the trip worthwhile. The whole place is quality from the car park to the rooms. Beautiful warm welcome. The room was immaculate, the breakfast was just the best we have had for a long time, with a good selection of locally sourced produce and a to die for home made marmalade. I defy anyone to find fault. We will certainly return.

The suite and room was amazing. The bath room had lovely fluffy towels and toiletries provided to a high standard. Tea and coffee in the room which was top up every day. Views are just fantastic and they are all round the hold mill house. This is one off the best B.B.we stay in

Kirk Yetholm and the end of the Pennine Way. This is a great way to end the day. Warm and welcoming hosts and superb accomodation. Amazing rooms and lounge and breakfast room. Home cooked locally sourced breakfast was superb.
