Finjam Cottage

The location was lovely, close to town, and the beaches. The view was gorgeous. It was a jamaican welcome, and jamaican style residence. They were kind to the dogs and cats and fed them. You could prepare food in the kitchen, store food safetly in the fridge. People around port antonio friendly, and we shopped with local people, locally in shops and the market, with no hassle or inflated prices .

Being brits we were a little peturbed at a curtain over the toilet, where as we are used to a solid door. It was easy to juggle bathroom needs.

Hospitality, felt homely. Andre & Tony were extremely helpful and accommodating. Scenery was besutiful fruit trees and flowers and location close to shops

Cats

I loved itd Rustic charm. Its tranquil and beautiful scenic environment. The staff went over and beyond to make my stay comfortable. When my feet were swollen, Tony used his massage skills to soothe them. The property has coconuts, fruit and vegetable trees and plants, its a nature preserve. The security was good. I felt comfortable and at home. The town centre and food shops are close by. My stay was better than expected.

Cats

The management found me another close by place to stay.

Online I booked a room. When I arrived I was told there were no vacancies. As a result I wasn't a happy camper!

We loved the dog and cats living there and also loved our private outside sitting area.

The place is just past the centre of town, so easy to access restaurants and shops. It's also quiet and breezy on the hill. The room had a fan and mosquito net, so it was comfortable to sleep in.

There is a fridge to put your drinks and things in, but you have to ask the owner to put them in and give them back to you, which isn't very convenient.

The location is the only thing going on for this place. It has a nice balcony view. We weren't bothered by anyone but there's a lot of people around the facilities.

BEWARE! Pictures are not from the place you are booking. Room is very outdated. No air conditioning. No hot watter. We stayed for 2 nights and it was bereable but we wouldn't book again.

I loved this place. Typical Jamaican vibes which I love. Tony is great and this place is in a great location. I felt very comfortable and the views from my room were incredible. Ruby soon come again 😊
