Friendly an warm welcome

I paid for a double room an i didn't get it due to some renovation ....the owner told me he will let us stay in in a different room for the night .....the next day in the afternoon i went and ask him how come he didn't come back an let me know if is word was valid....he start telling some things i dont even understand .....

The location was great and so was the staff

I didn't like that there was no cable (Netflix etc...) and the bathroom was too near the bed. Also, there was no soap holder inside the shower.

We did not get the room we booked as they made a double reservation so we ended up with a room with no balcony

the owner was very attentive and helpful from the moment we arrived. We drove there so being allowed to park in place, let us enjoy more the stay with no worrying about the car parked out in NYE. The room had a balcony with a great view of the town and the beach.

The bed sheets were rough and the bathroom doesn't have a door, it has a curtain though. It was noisy but since it was the NYE celebration we understood. The owner was playing music so the place wasn't super quiet but it was compensated by the great playlist the owner played and how respectful he was to stop it later in the night so guests could sleep well.

Use of the kitchen was free and decent amenities in there. Rooms OK, fairly spacious, whole place a little dated, seemed a little nicer in the photos but OK for 1 or 2 nights stay. Location alright, you can walk to the main centre for restaurants.

Rooms werent ready despite arriving after check in time (this seems to be a theme in Jamaica which I was expecting before I even arrived), floors could have been swept a bit better and bathroom was quite small. Water from bathroom tap was barely a trickle but shower was OK.
