"A little gem"

The building( 1879 ) .It was full of character visually from the outside. Inside it had been transformed but retaining parts of the chapel . It was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a great roomy shower. Beautifully decorated inside and lots of thought has been made in the garden with several seating areas. 2 mornings of a very full breakfast hamper were enjoyed and the coffee machine was used . The treats ,a hospitality bar of soft drinks and fresh fruit were a nice touch . There was also an honesty bar with plenty of choice. A bottle of fizz for an early birthday treat was a nice surprise. The location was great with 2 lovely pubs both tried within a 10 minute walk. A few minutes walk to the canal path a lovely walk and a boat trip enjoyed . This little gem has to be stayed in !

"wonderful boutique stay"

Really pretty, boutiquey property in a small village great for getting out into the nearby areas of interest - we stayed between days in the Cotswolds & Oxford. The breakfast hamper was lovely, as was the level of service - the team really went the extra mile to make the stay extra special as it was my birthday! would absolutely stay again without hesitation!

"Friendly, comfortable and relaxing weekend break."

Satisfactory. Plenty on offer but I should have notified them that I don't eat pork as not everthwas to my taste. The location.

The price was a little steep.

I loved the location for its tranquility and canal walks. It’s also ideal to get to nearby towns like Milton Keynes. The chapel itself is stunning and the breakfast hamper was amazing. Highly recommended.

This is a five star experience at 3 star price .it is hard to find any fault .Elaine Carol and nadia are perfect hosts .breakfasts and service is amazing the bed was extremely comfortable and the location so quiet .

It’s a beautiful place to stay. The breakfast is fantastic and all the little details are very well thought out. The people who run it are very welcoming and lovely nothing is to much trouble.
