Really nicely presented

Not suitable for tall people! Staircase was a little hairy and potential to bang your head at the top and fall back. Toilet a little awkward.

Great place for family to stay in the area for a couple of nights. Children (ages 7 & 11) were very happy to share the sofa bed (with provided mattress topper) in front of the TV! Mezzanine bedroom does have restricted headroom but I managed fine at 6ft3. Shower is very good.

Great location for us, friendly hosts, the place was clean and had good amenities for travellers. The equipment supplied was a good quality and it was nice to have some tea and coffee supplied. My husband found the bed very comfortable and overall we were happy with our stay.

There were a few things that were difficult for me because it made moving around uncomfortable. I found the steep stairs difficult to negotiate at night and because we are both tall the upstairs area was a bit of a squeeze. I had hoped to be able to cook meals at ‘home’ but the facilities didn’t really make this an easy proposition. Perhaps if I was used to using an air fryer it would be different😏

Loved the location and it was perfect for the reason for our stay (dog training a 5 minute drive away). The property contained all the amenities we needed and the fact furry friends are welcome is the icing on the cake.

The very steep stairs to the bedroom and lack of bedroom headspace. I am only 5'5 but I managed to bump my back on a couple of occasions. My wife and I didn't find the bed to be the most comfortable but this is nit picking

Access and parking was easy, beds were comfy and all the things we needed were there. The dog was friendly and sweet. Perfect for a little stop-over.

Steps were a little steep for our kids but that can't be helped. Couldn't seem to access the wifi but wasn't a huge problem.

Nothing suited our needs perfectly for overnight stay.

The location and the fact that it was dog friendly

There was no oven. I KNOW that it is not on the list and we should have checked but it seems pretty basic. We had brought a ready meal and had no way of heating it. A small microwave with oven should be a bare minimum. The stairs are steep and difficult to navigate especially for a couple of old giffers like us. And the bed room ceiling height was such that I had to crawl at all times. The kitchen cleanliness was disappointning, the tray under the plate drying rack frankly needed a good scrub.
