My granddaughter loved the Slide at the one pool, but the pools was not clean.

I booked a room that said on Booking.com has a bath and a walk-in shower. However upon arrival we were told that it only had a bath with no shower, and we were given another room, which looked and smelled like it had not been used in ages. Paint peeling, gas shower extremely temperamental, the bed wand sheets were old and we kept rolling towards each other, ending with me sleeping on the single bed that was too short for me and my granddaughter sleeping by my wife. Hanging doors half broken, not sliding properly, our garden view disappeared, and not even the basic things for self catering like dish cloth was to be found. Just around the corner where they started cleaning up after a big function was a overfull dustbin that smelled as if a dead animal was in it. I tried to move it a bit further away., but that did not help either. The next morning we did look at "room 9" (without owners knowledge) and it is like on the picture on booking.com, but no shower. What looks like a walk-in show was actually the toilet and basin. However, it was still not prepared as they apparently had a big group 2 nights before, and we got the feeling they just shoved us into the only available room that needed the least preparation. These people didn't seem to be expecting us. What looked like a very lovely place turned out one of our worst stays.

beautiful from the outside...

Mold on the walls. Noisy as there was a major birthday party right next to our room. Would have appreciated a heads up. We left and the hostess promised a refund which we never got.
