Great room and bathroom. Warm welcome on arrival.

I didn't check on the times for breakfast before booking and was disappointed that I had to leave before the 08:30 start time.

Friendly greeting and check in, amazing atmosphere, great chat, we really felt at home here and wished we had booked to stay longer. The food was delicious and there was an excellent selection of local beers, ciders and spirits. The room itself was superbly clean, you have your own thermostat which I really appreciate as I like to sleep in a cool room. Tea and coffee (with oat milk available too if you are that way inclined) in the room. We had been walking all day in the rain, so enjoyed a lovely hot shower before going down to dinner. Again, very clean bathroom with super soft towels. Although you are over a pub, the rooms were nice and quiet at night. The main draw was the people - the landlord was so welcoming and was happy to chat to us.
