Hotel Krishna Rishikesh

They asked for the same price that Booking.com had announced. There is a very small % of hotels in India that would not try to overcharge you when you come.

No toilet paper unless you ask for it. The water nubs are installed in a puzzling way. No room service. Laundry service is available sometimes. Randomised breakfast can be served to rooms on some days (on others it will not be available). There are no heaters in the room, and the blankets are pretty light; hence, the nights are relatively cold during the winter. Not every taxi will drive to the hotel as it is located on a very narrow and dead-end street. Uber would not even answer your requests. Several open construction yards are around, which are messy and, most importantly, so loud that you are likely to miss a knock on your room door, especially if you open a window during the day. Do not expect to have any afternoon nap.

The location is not good there is lots of noise you can't feel as you are in hotel or private space. Not recommended to visit if you are going for peace there....

First of all their staff behaviour, they were not friendly at all, rude nature, and later on we knew that there is curfew in the hotel you can't come back after 10:30 pm night, before 10:30 pm you have to come back else they will close the hotel door, our first night of the stay we were a bit late we have came at 11:20 pm, and they have locked the gates from the inside then we have stayed outside 15 mins and called 3 different person, then there staff opened the door, we have checked the details on the booking.com before booking the property nothing regarding the curfew was mentioned & after receiving the payment we got this information which is wrong, In the place like rishikesh this is very major draw back of the property as rishikesh real beauty is in the night. The same night 1 person called us on our mobile no and said there are noises coming from your room we were watching a movie on our laptop not even on TV, because their TV doesn't have the remote, the next morning at the reception they said again after calling at night and again when we came back in evening one of the property staff said very rudely last night we were having complains from other rooms dont make so much noise just because we have made them open the doors at night after 10:30 pm such unfriendly welcome, Also the rooms were not clean at all, in our 2 days stay they have not cleaned even once, property doesn't have any kitchen so ordering food is not an option there you have to go outside to eat, rooms are so noisy even when you speak outside people can hear you and their almira was made up of iron whenever you open & close it's sounds like dying animal, also rooms are very compact & small. there are many properties in the same area which is much better and at the Affordable cost, Not recommend for 4 or more people groups or couples, my stay at property is not satisfy at all

Unhygenic & filthy smell from bathroom. Bedsheet has hairs and red blood spot on bed. TV was not working either. The worst stay of my life

Welcoming clean and great location. Quiet despite central location.

The window led to the floor, but it was still cold in the room, the air conditioner didn’t work, there was a strong smell of mold, cockroaches, and dirty sheets. It's not worth the money.
