RHUBARB at Drapers Hall

Location was pretty , the room was beautiful. 1 small snag is there was no mirror by plug socket , for doing hair . The manager who dealt with check in and breakfast etc was lovely , friendly. Breakfast was great , cereal , fruit and yogurt to help yourself and then a cooked breakfast if you wanted it . I opted for sausage sandwich, hubby had bacon sandwich. Both were good quality produce and came quickly. Would definitely stay here again .

Location was excellent Gorgeous hotel, steeped in history, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated rooms - exceeded my expectations Breakfast exceptional - fantastic produce, I could not fault in any way

This is second time we have stayed nice rooms Its lovely hotel with nice staff highly recommend Book your car park before you go limited spaces And breakfast was nice nothing to much trouble

Nothing its brilliant hotel

The feel of the place is so old and beautiful. Excellent presentation whether it is the pillows, the towels etc. everything is well cared for and of an excellent standard. Staff are friendly and helpful.

My husband would tell you that he would have liked more vegetables in fact more of everything - the food is so good. It is such a pity that they do not serve food Monday/Tuesday but we do realise staff need time off! We weren’t very clear about getting round the building on a Sunday night/Monday morning but we got there in the end.

Great location in the centre of town, very clean and beautifully decorated, good value for money. Comfortable bed, lovely big bath which I very much enjoyed!

Unfortunately there was no breakfast available as we stayed on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed but I did know about that beforehand so not an issue but something to consider.

Lovely old hotel in centre of Shrewsbury. Room was clean and tidy. Very central. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although very central the hotel was peaceful and quiet. A parking space at the rear was made available for my motorbike which was appreciated.

Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were closed when we were there so I can’t comment on how the food might be.

Great location, comfortable bed, gorgeous building, beautiful room. Staff excellent. Cocktails lovely.

It would be great to have a fridge in the room but I understand it may be difficult to fit one in and retain the character.
