Jane & Trevor were very welcoming hosts. Showed us to the snug where there was a log burner making it nice and cosy. We had the use of the snug all evening. Tea and homemade flapjacks were delicious. The bedroom and bathroom accommodation was clean and comfortable with lovely views of the lake and garden from the windows. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and very attractively presented. Jane catered for our dietary needs. Will definitely make a return visit when we are in the area. Although just off the main road, it was very peaceful and quiet and we were not disturbed by any traffic noise.

Wonderful cozy atmosphere, our hosts Jane and Trevor were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The sitting area in front of the fireplace was just amazing.

Located in a beautiful secluded place. Very quiet and relaxing. The house / estate is well maintained, cozy and comfortable. The mattress, duvet, pillows and bed linen are of high quality. Very comfortable. Good WiFi/internet connection and speed.

Beautiful place with lovely hosts the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in .Jane went above and beyond,ordered us a taxi in advance to take us to.a wedding and even very kindly offered to.loan us cash till the following day as we hadn't brought any for the taxi .would highly recommend and would return 🙂

Only here the one night but it was very pleasant. You will struggle to find better than this at the price. Excellent breakfast and quality produce.

I would be being very picky if I put anything here.

Wonderful friendly welcome, lovely clean and comfortable room. Attention to detail was fab, above and beyond our expectations. Jane and Trevor are perfect hosts - helpful and friendly but not intrusive. We didn't want to go home and will definitely return! 😁
