Location was excellent and easy to access - instructions also made that easy. Alex was a lovely host and really accommodating given we stayed New Year's Eve! Breakfast was great too, some of the best bread we've eaten...

There's a lot to love about staying with Alex - the room is spacious and beautifully appointed, and the bathroom is fantastic. I enjoyed the skylight and the duvet was super comfy. The gardens are gorgeous! The location really is right next to the train station, which is very convenient, and Bushy Park is right down the street. The breakfast food was tasty, including Alex's homemade bread, and she is very personable and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

I would stay at this property again, but there are a few things I wish I'd realized when I made my reservation: 1) It's a single room in a private home (for some reason I thought it was an inn); 2) The room is on the top floor and you will need to navigate 2 sets of very narrow and slightly twisty stairs, so if you have a big or heavy case this is not the place for you; 3) These days the "breakfast" in a B&B isn't the full English as it was in the old days - it's yogurt, granola, toast, juice, and fruit. What Alex had on offer was delicious, but it's not a cooked breakfast; and 4) Because it's right next to the rail station and near Heathrow, there's quite a bit of noise from trains and planes. I'm not much bothered by that because I grew up near an airport, but other people I know would have trouble with it. At any rate, when I stayed here I was at the end of a 6-week trip and had just completed a lengthy stay with friends, so I was really hoping for a room at an inn with a lot of privacy, lift for luggage, and a nice hot breakfast. But nonetheless I had a wonderful experience and I think all of this is on me for not doing better research.

Very clean and comfortable country charm

Surprised to discover that it’s actually in somebody’s house and you have to walk through their personal sitting room to get to your room (rather than it being a separate annexe)

Fabulous breakfast with lovely fresh produce, and of course that delicious home made sourdough bread. We loved the proximity of the cottage to everything that Teddington has to offer, and the ease of transport into the surrounding area and into London. We were made to feel very welcome.

For us - great location. Visiting a few friends in and around London so the Teddington train station location was perfect. Comfortable bed and good shower. Room nice and dark so great night sleep. Alex was a great host, vary welcoming and attentive. Felt very 'residential', which was perfect for us - but if you are thinking of late nights and being merry, probably not a good fit.

Nice house, perfect location and very nice host. Unfortunately it was raining all time, I'd have enjoyed the garden. London is very easy to reach, as well as the Heathrow airport.

It was not very clear from the description that the room is inside the house, so you have to pass through the living room etc. This was not quite a problem though and the room is the only one in the attic.
