Carmela was absolutely the best host we have ever had! She was so welcoming and extremely helpful during our stay. The special attention she gives her guests is so appreciated. From the welcome aperitif of local meats, cheeses, and their own olives, to the delicious breakfast she delivers (you choose the type and delivery time). The trullo itself has been renovated with such care and was by far our favorite place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Italy; from Florence to the Amalfi Coast to Alberobello. While the hosts share the property, you'd never know it because it's like you have the whole place to yourselves. This is a VERY special place; we hated to leave.

It is a super authentic place. Extremely cozy, well-equipped and very clean. If you look for an amazing Trullo experience, this is your place. Furthermore, you will be welcomed by the host with a plate of local specialties and your breakfast will be brought to your room.

I loved staying at Trullo Sweet Trullo, and would definitely stay here again if I return to this area of Puglia. Carmen, the host, was wonderful. So friendly, proactive, accommodating, always asking to make sure all was well and my every need was being met. The trullo and rooms in it were gorgeous. Breakfast was outstanding.

There's nothing I disliked. For me, I loved the location about 5+ minutes drive outside of Alberobello, in a small village surrounded by olive tree groves. For those who want to be right in Alberobello and who don't want to drive a car, this may not be a good fit. For me, perfect.

Trullo Sweet Trullo is an amazing gem. Very spacious, clean and in beautiful surroundings. It had everything we needed. Carmela is the best host we have ever had. So kind and generous and we felt very welcome. We will definitely come back.

The place is authentic, cozy and beautiful. We would easily be able to spend 10 days there watching the olive garden, eating and relaxing. And the host - she is outstanding, a perfect fit with the place itself. The food she prepares is local and plenty. Highly recommended to anyone.
