B&B La Bergerie

A mi chemin entre Taormine et la plage... donc dans les deux cas, vous n'échapperez pas à la ribambelle d'escaliers à grimper ou à descendre... difficulté pour le stationnement et dans les deux cas ça vous obligera à choisir entre vos petons ou le téléphérique et quoi quil vous en coute il va falloir accepter de gambader et de payer !. Hormis une jolie vue depuis la terrasse et la cuisine, ce logement offre un grand lit et une baignoire mais rien d'exceptionnel. La déco est un peu juste et sans plus... et idem pour le petit déjeuner. Ça reste des détails mais le prix lui n'est pas un détail : et il mériterait d'être réajusté. 1200 euros 4 nuits hors saison... ça fait un peu chero pour un standing qui ne va pas avec... parking dans la rue. Propriétaire sympa mais débordée...

Fabulous view of Isolla Bella. Met our needs for two nights. Hostess Barbara is warm and friendly. Parking is free and out front door

Advertised as small room and it was. Located between upper and lower towns so lots of steps.

The place and the view of the ocean is heart breaking. You truly feel that you are in a holiday!

The views and access to the town and beach. La Bergerie is in the middle, so it’s approx 30 min walk into town up 280ish stairs, and a 15 min walk to beach 550 stairs down to the beach! Barbara the host is lovely and offers an amazing location. Tip: the restaurants on the middle road down to the beach are better than those is town’ more authentic and not a tourist trip! We enjoyed the hospitality

A minibar and a breakfast would be nice, but given the property’s position it wasn’t easy to access cafe or food easily! It’s a true air bnb ….

The view and location were fantastic along with free parking and hostess.

Perfect location, the view over Isola Bella was superb. The place was cosy and clean. And Barbara was really kind and helpful.

Host was great, parking was really easy, unit was cute and had everything you needed. Everything was set up and ready to go on arrival. Nice view. Some nice caffès and restaurants nearby as well as the walking path to Isola Bella. Would be a great location if you’re planning on using the nearby beach.

Unit was loud and we heard people fighting/yelling until after midnight. Balcony was small. Some ants in the kitchen and around the unit in general. Taormina was not really very accessible from the condo ( less than expected) and it was a chore just to get breakfast. Walked and climbed around 7 miles per day for basic sightseeing and to get meals nearby. Would be ok for normal ambulatory adults and older children but it would not be great for younger children or people with mobility issues. My 7 year old handled it ok-ish but was sick of it after a couple days. View is nice but it’s very easy to get a sea view in the area. Street to get to the unit is very tight ( even for Sicily).
