A lovely spacious, bright, airy apartment with comfortable practical facilities in a great location in a beautiful area. Excellent views over the old town rooftops to the bay beyond with some lovely sunsets in the evening. The host Frank kindly offered to collect me on arrival from the airport and even gave me a little tour on the way to get a feel of Ebeltoft. Highly recommended.

Nothing significant. One of the beds was a bit soft for my liking but the other one was fine. It was very light (in June) so I was glad to have an eye mask to sleep in.

The apartment is very centrally located, with easy access to the town center, restaurants, and walking areas. Having a dedicated parking space was convenient, and we particularly appreciated the possibility of charging our electric car on site. The host was also very responsive and provided detailed welcome information before our arrival, which made the check-in process straightforward and easy.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation. The biggest issue was a very strong mold smell throughout the apartment. The property is partially underground, and despite keeping the available windows open as much as possible, the smell never disappeared. It was so pervasive that even after returning home, our jackets and clothes still smelled of mold. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the apartment were also disappointing. We found spider webs in several areas, including around the cutlery and in different parts of the apartment, giving the impression that the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. While the location itself may be convenient, the issues with mold and cleanliness significantly affected our stay. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here ever again and do not recommend it.
