Nice room and en-suite in a quiet location

My wife and I stayed at The Old Field Barn Bed & Breakfast over the Easter Bank Holiday and had a truly wonderful experience. The property is beautifully kept, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing countryside escape. Elena, our host, was absolutely fantastic – incredibly polite, warm, and genuinely hospitable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, even kindly offering to heat up our ready meals in the evening, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was beautifully done every morning – fresh, nicely presented, and a lovely start to each day. The room was spotless, cosy and well-equipped, and we really felt at home. We felt thoroughly looked after and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming and welcoming B&B stay!

Everything was spot on!

Beautiful house. Lovely room with nice touches ie homemade brownies in room and toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was huge and extremely tasty

The location was in a very nice rural setting which was nice and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and large in size. Very well presented and with tea and coffee machine on hand Di you could have as many cups as you’d like. Hot chocolate was delicious too!

The only thing we could say is that although the en-suite had everything that you needed, including fresh smelling towels, it would have been nice to have a place to put your toiletry bag there.

Great location near ( 2mins by car)to public house for evening meal. Good to have a coffee machine and pool table in the communal area. Very quiet and peaceful
