USThis was a LOVELY room; big, bright with a view of their gorgeous back garden, well appointed. The bed was comfy and the shower hot with great water pressure. Our hostess was so very helpful with directions and gave us all sorts of options for breakfast. We will definitely book there again and for more than one night. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed.

GBHaving stayed in a number of Hotels / Pubs etc in the area over the last year, this was my first B&B - The room was very spacious, with a modern bathroom and the breakfast was easily as good if not better than anywhere I have stayed around Saffron Walden.
No dislikes of any note apart from maybe a lack of signage to know which was the correct house - the address on Booking.com just gives a postcode and street name.

DEDie gut ausgestattete bed and breakfast-Unterkunft liegt ruhig in einem typischen altenglischen Straßendorf in Essex. Sie ist nur rund fünfzehn Autominuten vom Flughafen Stansted entfernt. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich. Alles war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll. Besonders schön war die Sitzecke in dem liebevoll gepflegten Garten. Es gab einen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher und ein paar Zutaten für Tee und Kaffee. Und natürlich das reichhaltige englische Frühstück, das bis zum Nachmittag gesättigt hat. Eine schöne Unterkunft in einer schönen Gegend - ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.
Weil es während meines Besuches ausnahmsweise sehr heiß in der Region war, musste ich abends gründlich lüften, was ein paar Mücken zum Eindringen genutzt haben.
GBSet in the garden, separate from the house. Very clean and tidy. Lots of space, shower was great, wide selection of teas available and coffee. Was given a bottle of milk not long life containers. Host was very friendly and breakfast was first class.

GBLovely place with a very homely feel about it, beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. Great shower and very tasty breakfast. Tea, coffee, bisuits, milk and water all provided, which we very much appreciated. We would be happy to stay again.
GBGBBeautifully well designed annexe felt very private and separate from the main house. We felt very cared for and had a lovely vegan breakfast which Diane went out and especially bought vegan sausages to cater for us. Can’t recommend it enough plus the early check in time made for a more relaxing stay.
