Clean and quiet Courteous and helpful young man working in the bar

Poorly furnished in the inn. Breakfast was ok, but powdered orange juice and very skimpy ‘buffet’.

The location was very pretty and the room was nice with a comfortable bed and vintage furniture. The bathroom was sparklingly clean and lovely and warm. The morning staff in the restaurant were lovely.

The food was mediocre and the service in the evening was just ok.. We'd booked for a meal on two nights but cancelled the second night.
