Helpful, welcoming hostess. Lovely breakfast. Good spacious shower. Excellent location, close to railway, harbour and restaurants.

The hostess Beryl is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. She is fun and a good conversationalist. She made our stay 100 times better. It was such a pleasure to meet her. The location of the place is perfect for staying at Porthmadog and easy access to any road. The room was very clean and well organised, smelled nicely. The bed was very comfy.

The location for us was spot on. Less than 2 mile taxi ride. The breakfast was first class. Nothing was to much trouble. I asked the night before whether the tomatoes were fresh or tinned. As they were fresh a tin of plum tomatoes was fetched from the supermarket for me. Our room overlooked a well manicured garden to the front and the same at the rear from the dining room window with an abundance of birds in the garden.

The breakfast cooked by Berryl was excellent. We could feel she likes receive people. We talked about our visits during our stay in Porthmadog.

It's really difficult to find something bad

Very good breakfast. The location was central for what we planned to see.
