"Nice stay with very accommodating hosts"

Very clean room and bathroom, big enough for two people and two suitcases, quiet residential area. Delicious extensive breakfast and good coffee. You can freely choose the day before whether you want an English breakfast with egg, ham, sausage, mushrooms, beans or not, or parts of it. Staggered breakfast times so that breakfast was always freshly prepared. Plus a selection of muesli and bread, cold cuts and jam. We were free to choose the time of breakfast, taking into account the wishes/times of the other guests. We always found a parking space on the street where the accommodation was located; we had a badge from the landlord that said we were residents. The coast/lake and the city, with restaurants to eat out in the evening, could be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Perfect for trips to York (please use York Park and Ride), Whitby and Castle Howard

The location was very convenient. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast, clean and comfortable room.

The handbasin in the ensuite wasn't draining properly - very minor thing.
