Bed en Breakfast de Olm

Stayed here for 3 nights and the Host was extremely welcoming, the bed was super comfortable and the location was great for Efteling. Breakfast was really nice with fresh fruit, pastries, meats and choice of egg. I can't think of anything to improve the stay.

It is a perfect place for couples, with tasty and lovely breakfast, fantastic service, comfortable beds, and a place near Efteling park.

Best B&B I have ever stayed in! It is just a 10 minute walk to the Efteling. This place is very different to an English B&B - I have to agree with the other comment, it is like a high end hotel. The room is fabulous, the bed is so comfortable and there is a 4K TV. Wow, even the shower room is gorgeous. The breakfast was so good, usually continental isn’t filling but I was full all day. This place is the best value for money in Kaatsheuvel. Marcel is the friendliest person we met on our stay! 😊 He goes above and beyond to accommodate all needs, even going outside to collect our food delivery at night. 😄

The whole experience was the personal touch of a BnB mixed with a high end hotel. And the host was absolutely lovely. Very vegan friendly too if you ask in advance for what you need.

Great location for Efteling and fantastic breakfast.

Lovely rooms. This bed and breakfast has only 2 double bedrooms with a shared kitchen area. As a family of 4 this suited us perfectly as we had both bedrooms and then the kitchen area to ourselves. We would keep the bedroom doors open and just close them at night. The host Marcel was very nice and very helpful. The rooms are really lovely, and the kitchen area too. The rooms were nice and quiet, as it is in a residential neighbourhood. Dressing gowns were provided as well as towels. In the kitchen free bottles of water were provided. There is also wine, beer and chocolate which you can take and pay at the end of the holiday, (Marcel - it would be nice perhaps if you could put out some crisps, pringles etc as well as the chocolate for a little bit of extra choice!) A couple of nights we stayed in the accomodation and ordered in Dominoes pizza and took advantage of the wine and beer that had been provided, which made for a nice relaxing evening as we had the kitchen area to use. The walk to the Efteling theme park was a pleasant 20 minute walk through the residential area. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. But beware, they all seem to close about 10pm so you need to be sure of getting there before 8pm otherwise you might not be able to get a table. (Which is why we went back and resorted to pizza for a one of our nights!) Overall a great stay and I would recommend, especially if you are a party of 4 people and can book out both rooms.

As other people have said, the stairs down to the rooms are fairly steep but there is a handrail, and the stairs are lit in case you are coming back in the dark. If you have fussy eaters in your party the breakfast may not work so well for you as a hotel as obviously there is not as much choice. But Marcel is fairly flexible and you can request what you want from him for the next day.
