Siril Guesthouse Hostel

The hosts are both so nice and welcoming, they helped me a lot such as booked a tuktuk to Horton National Park and told me how to take a bus from Eliya to Ahangama. The bed is really comfortable and warm.

Lovely guesthouse that has clean, spacious rooms with a good value. There is a common area where you can eat your meals and hang out. The kitchen can also be used by guests, we cooked almost all our meals there. It is about a 10 minute walk into town. The owners are friendly and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Lovely little guesthouse that was very clean and the staff were really helpful. There is construction in a few rooms but the owner was mindful and did not begin work until late morning. All of the amenities that it had were great - hot and powerful shower, thick duvet, and food.

Gayan is a really great host once he warms up to you. He rent us a scooter and helped organise tuk tuks to get to the train station and also Horton Plains. The breakfast was great. All fresh fruits and vegetables from his own garden. I really enjoyed it. The room was big and the blankets really, really warm and cozy. The shower has hot water and was the best shower we had in all of Sri Lanka. There is a washing machine, so you can do laundry if you want to. We would recommend this place and enjoyed our stay there.

The location is not the best. It is within walking distance to the edge of the town but for everything else you need a tuk tuk or a scooter. But we didn't mind.

Sirirl Guest House is very nice, staff is very kind and rooms are very clean. The location is nice, not in the city center but 10 min walking.

The WiFi is not working properly, it’s not a big issue but when you travel sometimes you need internet to do all your reservations and bookings.

Clean and comfortable, welcoming and helped us to organise guides to take us on some treks. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was really good.

Had a wonderful stay at Siril. The guesthouse has everything you might need for few nights including the laundry (which we used). Clean, comfortable and overall nice vibe at the place. Big kudos to the owner Gayan, we had interesting conversations and he gave us a lot of of local tips not only about Nuwara Eliya but overall about the country.

Little bit further away from all the attractions but not a big issue.
