David is really helpful! The facility is great and they make sure you have everything you need.

It was not clean, limescale everywhere, even had hair in the wall of my bathroom

The view every morning was amazing. The owner David was very attentive, helping me get connected with tours and even picking me up and driving me back to the port. He was also very understanding when I found out that there are no ATMs on the island.

Because of the lack of ATMs and the higher costs on the island, it would have been nice to pay for the room with a credit card, even if that meant there was a fee.

The staffs is super nice and friendly. This design is quite good.

The bathroom is quite small

The rooms were very clean, and the beds were so comfy and private! highly recommend.

They have a ferry pick up and they can arrange scooter rentals. A quiet location with a small beach across the road that you can snorkel at, although the coral was bleaching. Brad, the owner I think, was very helpful and spoke very good English.

The fan in my dorm pod was a bit loud. I don't know why so many places in southern Taiwan have such thick comforters.

Beautiful cylindrical container rooms, the hostel has 6 beds while the private suite are good for 2 people. The room is a little small but has everything including wifi, tv, toilet. The beach is just across the road. The guesthouse offers free pickup from the port, it is about 10 minutes away. They can also help you to arrange tours, rent a scooter etc. David is very helpful, even for arranging last minute tours the night before.

There is a mini infinity pool, nice to swim in but the floor is covered with algae, could be better maintained. The place doesn’t have free breakfast but you can pop by the next door cafe. We were advised not to eat in the room as it may attract insects. There is a common dining area.

The location is amazing with sea view. David and the boss are great people, picking up at the harbour and bringing back, helping with renting scooter etc. Organizing mermaid party’s. Lovely overall.

The showers weren’t very clean and the backpacker room is a bit too small if you’re tall like me, plus really hot. The AC doesn’t reach inside so it was stuffy.

Great location and really cool design

Got to the hostel on the last ferry but there was no one at the counter for me to check in. I returned to the hostel to check in after texting the manager about my arrival(at 5:15 after waiting around for a bit I decided to get dinner first) - little do I know that an awful and incredibly passive aggressive check in experience was awaiting for me: the manager David is extremely rude because I was “late” to check in and didn’t receive the confirmation massage that states no check in after 5 (which he could have informed me when we were texting). Instead of rejecting my stay, he went on interrogating me about when did I get on the ferry, when did I get to the hostel and why I didn’t check the confirmation email. He then went out of his way to make the whole check in experience extremely uncomfortable to me - if my friend isn’t staying here I would have not put up with it and leave right away. And the room wasn’t even ready for me. Horrible management, zero customer service, and 10/10 passive aggressiveness from David.

Tube is quite warm during the day even with air condition
